Incontinence material

In everyday use in home care and in retirement homes, but unfortunately still kept secret in society: we are talking about incontinence material.

For patients suffering from incontinence, incontinence pads and underpads provide enormous relief in their daily lives. The fear of wetting themselves can be a major burden.

Incontinence material – discreet help for more well-being

If you or a loved one suddenly experience bladder weakness, many questions suddenly arise:

• What incontinence materials are available?
• Where can you buy it?
• Who bears the costs and how much are they?

We'd like to use this opportunity to answer these questions and familiarize you with our products. While incontinence is unfortunately still often an unpleasant issue, we want to make your everyday life easier and improve your quality of life with our products.

Buy incontinence material

If your primary care physician or urologist has diagnosed your incontinence, they can also issue you a prescription for incontinence products directly. The prescription will include the duration of the prescription (note this and have a new prescription issued well in advance of the expiration date), the quantity, and the type of product.

Contact your health insurance provider with the prescription, which will suggest various suppliers to you.

Tip:

Depending on your health insurance, you may be charged additional fees for delivery and consultations. Compare these costs with the costs you would incur if you purchased the products yourself at a drugstore or similar.
Example: Basic care through the health insurance company + additional material purchased by the patient.

Products for every situation and type of incontinence

Incontinence materials are also called incontinence products and offer support for both urinary and fecal incontinence. The correct selection of products should be based on the affected person's daily routine and not restrict it. This includes aspects such as

Functionality

• Quick change
• Quick dressing and undressing
• no slipping
• and much more.

comfort

• Comfortable to wear
• Discreet use (no marking, no rustling)
• and much more.

hygiene

• Sufficient absorbency
• No odor formation
• and much more.

These aspects apply both to those affected by incontinence and to those caring for them.

In addition to incontinence materials that drain (urine bottles), assist with going to the toilet (toilet aids) or support the functions of the excretory organs (functional-anatomical incontinence products), there are also absorbent incontinence products.
